"Bajkazyl was founded in 2016 and from the beginning it functioned as a social enterprise, bar, bicycle workshop and music club. Social overlap, with a focus on social and climate justice, has been the guiding principle of our work from the outset. In addition to the bicycle workshop, the operation of the bar and cafe focused mainly on music production. Bajkazyl Brno has gained a reputation not only on the Brno or Czech cultural scene, but it is also a resounding name on an international scale, especially within the underground and hardcorpunk subculture.
It went through many crisis situations, whether it was a hysterical complainant about the noise (we remind you that Bajkazyl is below the Central Station on the five-lane road), or a power outage for several months due to repairs to the station.

We operate as an open team. In addition to musical activities, we also organize lectures, screenings, exhibitions and provide space for many organizations and teams for self-development (Limits We Are, Young Greens, Pleasure Without Risk, etc.). The year-round operation of the bar and cafe emphasizes quality, local and small suppliers and vegan assortment. We try to conduct our operations ethically and in an environmentally friendly manner, thus connecting our ideology and practice.

Despite initial imperfections, Bajkazl has become a stable club, with an average of over 80 concerts a year, including foreign bands from around the world that like to return. With a dramaturgical selection, we try to supplement the Brno cultural scene with specific music and audiovisual projects, distant from mainstream culture. We are genre open. Almost anyone can play or organize their own cultural program. Bajkazyl relies on its own production but also on a number of promoters who repeatedly organize a cultural program in our club. We are a small space run by enthusiastic people and open to established world bands, but also to young beginning local projects."

This Album is a Compilation of various Artists from Czechia, Slovakia, Austria, Germany and the Netherlands. All Money collected from the sales will go to Bajkazyl Brno.
